In Loving Memory of Rhonda Cheryl Allen September 10, 1957 – June 7, 2026 It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Rhonda Cheryl Allen, who departed this life on June 7, 2026, at the age of 68. Rhonda was a devoted wife, loving mother, educator, sister, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was the beloved wife of Terry Allen and the cherished mother of Alexis Allen and Brenton Allen. Family and friends were the center of her world, and she dedicated her life to caring for, supporting, and uplifting those she loved. Rhonda earned an Associate in Arts degree, a Bachelor of Arts degree, and a Master of Science degree in Education. She chose a career in education because it allowed her to spend more time with her children while making a positive difference in the lives of young people. Through her work at Gahr High School, she inspired students and built lasting relationships with colleagues and members of the community. Known for her giving spirit and loving heart, Rhonda found joy in both life's simple pleasures and its exciting adventures. She loved riding motorcycles, exercising, and trying her luck at the casino. She could often be found folding laundry while talking on the phone with family and friends, staying closely connected to the people she cared about most. Whether sharing a laugh, offering encouragement, or simply checking in, Rhonda made everyone feel loved and valued. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Terry Allen; her children, Alexis Allen and Brenton Allen; her siblings, Rae, Darcy, Rosalynd and Clarence; her beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members, dear friends, former students, and colleagues whose lives were enriched by knowing her. She was preceded in passing by her siblings, Darrell, Savetta, and Shelton. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the countless memories she created and the love she gave so freely. Her strength, warmth, sense of humor, and devotion to her family and friends will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her. Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
