Mrs. Carmen Alicia Fuentes Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On Monday, August 12, 2019, Carmen Alicia Fuentes, loving Mother of Virginia (Vicky) and Grandmother of three children, passed away at age 64 in Los Angeles, California Carmen was born on Sunday, August 29, 1954 to Jose and Herminia (Areclia) Fuentes in Baja, California. She move to California in 1980 where she raised her only daughter Vicky. Carmen loved traveling and spending time with her daughter Vicky and grandchildren, Johnathan (26), Nathanael (21) and Tabatha (20). She loved to watch cartoons; her favorite character was Tinker Bell. (She always said that was her). As of late she was constantly traveling to Baja with her daughter to visit her sister and go eat seafood. She was already making plans for retirement at the end of the year, where she would move to Baja and rent a little house for herself near her sister Guadalupe. She was known as a very hard worker. She also had a sarcastic wit about her (with a humorous overtone). Carmen was preceded in death by her father, Jose, and her mother, Hermina (Arecelia) and her brother, Alberto. She is survived by her husband Luis, her daughter Vicky and her three grandchildren; Jonathan, Nathanael and Tabatha; her sisters; Zoila, Guadalupe, Raquel and Lourdes and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Stonebridge Funeral Home 17409 Woodruff Ave., Bellflower CA 90706 at 7 o'clock p.m. Flowers or donations may be sent to 17409 Woodruff Ave., Bellflower CA 90706 c/o Virginia Hoffman.
